Hey there Anon, thanks for the well wishes, same to you! I'm actually from Johto, but my family moved to Hoenn when I was really young. I always loved watching the contests, they just caught my eye with their beauty and grace. But my family put a bit of pressure to become a pokemon trainer, so I did join the Hoenn league but without our heart in it we didn't get too far. But Prof. Birch took me under his wing until I got into the Academy for new professors, and that's where I met Pyrus and Chestnut. They encouraged me to pick up contests again, and I loved it. I also learned I loved the idea of being a professor too, so I worked hard in both.
Then when we graduated, we all got an invitation to come to Geona, but now that I think on it more, it didn't have a return address, and the professors here before us were confused, but they took us in anyway. Going to have to find that letter later. -Hemlocke
Thanks for the question and holiday greetings. We hope you're having a good time too. I'm from the Unova region. Since I was young, I wanted to train and become the champion, but due to some issues I had no choice but to forfeit the challenge. Both professors were kind enough to help me into the Academy, where I met Pyrus and Hemlocke. Even though this was to study to be professors, they helped me get past the hurdle that was keeping me back before, and I've been training to become a challenger again. But of course my work as a professor helps too.
We all got invitations to a not well known region, Geona, and set off on a ship filled with other people. It was strange though, we were the only three getting off, and no one was there to greet us. We basically had to hitch a ride to the nearest lab and the Professors had no idea we were coming. Hmm... -Prof. Chestnut
Hey, thanks for the ask! Sorry it took so long to respond, but we all had business to do today. Anyway, I'm from Kanto. I actually did go through the League Challenge, but lost in the premilinaries of the last battles. But I always admired Prof. Oak and took extensive notes on all the pokemon I saw and found, having captured all 147 pokemon I could. I know, there's 151 technically, but I wasn't about to capture any of the legendaries, or risk my pokemon from trying. I do still have notes on them though. Anyway, Professor Oak helped me into the Academy and that's where I met Hemlocke and Chestnut. I saw they both wanted to be different things though, so I helped push them to see that they could still follow their dreams! We all graduated from the Academy together though.
Then, we got some invitations to come here, and we decided Why not? Another adventure for us! But it was strange. No one else got off even though the ship was full of people, and no one greeted us. We even had to ask for a ride to the nearest lab. Even though it was practically midnight when we arrived, the professors let us crash on the couches and they took us in as apprentices. -Pyrus
