Soohyuk was always that one person Shamaal never saw often. Perhaps it's because he was the school matron and the man wasn't one to venture out to the hospital wing too often. Or perhaps the universe just didn't design their path to cross one another's. But that fine evening, they met each other. Face to face in the dark hallway. Shamaal stopped and gave the other his usual smile along with a nod as a silent greeting. "Evening, Doctor."

Shamaal was someone that Soohyuk hadn’t bared the chance to do much but careless greetings during coffee breaks. Defense Against the Dark Arts, he thought to himself one day after briefly meeting the man. It was the infamous class that he had heard of back in Durmstrang, the mystery for him and his classmates laid with the students of Hogwarts and their abilities to truly defend themselves against darker arts. But Shamaal has a face one can’t forget. To the irony he presented himself of thinking this earlier that morning, it was later in the day that he ran into said professor on his way back to the wing. Soohyuk saw the other and naturally smiled in return, “Ah, Professor Shamaal.” The doctor wasn’t typically one to spark the conversation, but of course, there were exceptions. “How are you doing?”
