somethings that arent on the image but i think is relevant:

she has a large scar on her right shoulder/back that is covered by her sleeve from where a houndoom bit her when she was very young and defending mimikyu from it. it never stops burning but there is cream that she applies daily to help! she doesnt have great coordination with her right arm because of it but she certainly tries extremely hard to preform tasks to the best of her ability!

she will defend those she cares about with her entire life if threatened. no exceptions. and will bite. also no exceptions

This is a doodle for the inspiration for this blog, @prof-peach !! Mr T. Ogepi is a great addition to your island’s staff. Wish I had a Pokémon like that to do my taxes given how bad I am with numbers, but chances are, all my Bug Pokemon would just want to eat the paperwork.

I wasn’t sure what the missus looked like so I just took a guess at the image I pictured. Love your blog and let Mr Ogepi know my Pokémon and I are fans!

So…I recently became enamored by @prof-peach ‘s stuff aannd oops! My hand slipped!

The trainer only known as Yellow lives away from most towns and cities, yet a safe distance from the north. Very rarely do they go to towns, though whenever there’s a battle event, they’re always there to participate. “Big momma” a prairie variant meganium, was Yellow’s first Pokémon, raised from a chikorita, they are very open about that. However, it is a mystery how the trainer met the rest of their team.

Despite all the secrecy, Yellow is quite goofy most of the time, The trainer is often spotted by the daycare, the garden, squatting ominously on the roof of Professor’s lab just to spook those entering and leaving. They often like to wear both feminine and masculine clothing, yet the pikachu mask always stays on….always..even if it somehow falls or gets yanked off, something always obscures Yellow’s face.

To the professors and workers, it was clear if Big momma was spotted around town or near labs, Yellow was not too far either, either running around or throwing hands with those causing harm to Pokémon or their trainers

I don’t normally do this kind of content but @prof-peach opened up for OCs and I couldn’t resist! Jackie’s less of an OC and more of my self insert for the games but have her anyways! :)

Jackie is a tried and true Driftveil girl, and as such is pretty harsh. She grew up playing with the rock types that were often around there and getting lost in caves, and as such her trademark stubbornness grew. She’s the type to get lost and refuse to ask for directions, instead trying every single road possible until she stumbles on the right one. It’s slow and very much beating your head against a wall but it works and she has yet to see it fail her.

As soon as she was granted her first Pokémon she found her true passion. Pokémon themselves.

Her first Pokémon like many naive young trainers was a fire type, and by golly was it a hectic time in the early stages.

Her father had sent her a Pokémon from where he had moved, the Johto region, and as such Charcoal became her very first partner, a rather rambunctious cyndaquil who’d prefer to fight than hide.

Time has passed and she has managed to screw a bit more of a reasonable head on her shoulders now.

She’s stopped traveling, mostly after discovering the costs of constantly being on the move, and instead managed to settle into Dotaku Island. She’s not great with the grass types but that’s not why she’s there, let’s be honest.

While the island may specialize in grass types it also gets many rejects, and with those come many many fire. She’s the one to call when you have a fire type being too unruly or chaotic, where she’ll come in, scoop up the creature or tempt it away from where it can cause harm. She essentially does damage control, making sure no other Pokémon can be seriously hurt by the traumatized fire Pokémon that make their way to the island.

She’s got a lot of burns on her body, maybe a third of them from her younger years first dealing with fire types. The ones on her hands however are typically from her awful cooking, she’ll pull cookies out of the oven, realize there’s no space on the counters, and then just stand there holding them while they burn her fingers because she doesn’t know what to do and she doesn’t want to drop them or burn them by placing them back in the oven.

She’s had quite a few mistakes and the scars on her body are there to prove it but never once has she thought about giving up and stopping caring for Pokémon. She knows from personal experience how hard fire types can be to handle and she wants to do her best to give them all a second chance, to teach others the same stubbornness she has, to get them to care enough to stick past the burns and pain until you get to the Pokémon themself.

As mentioned before, Charcoal is a pokemon always raring for a fight, and at first that included with or without his trainers consent. For a while Jackie found herself running after her pokemon as he got into fights, at first scooping him up when he wouldn’t listen. Eventually the trademark burns on her upper arms happened, another incident where she thought the best way to stop Charcoal was to physically keep him from fighting and he reacted in kind by breathing fire on the arms that held him in place. Somehow Jackie managed not to drop the pokemon. Eventually the cyndaquil tired himself out and, with a bit of guilt on both sides, the two of them got down to coming to an understanding, Jackie admitting she’d take him out for more exercise and fighting as long as he waited for her permission before attacking somebody elses pokemon.

 Now he’s evolved to a full Typhlosion where he follows his trainer around waiting for someone to look at them wrong so he can fight them. He helps her dealing with the bigger fire types who need a good smack before they can be calm enough to listen.

Rorsch and Tsukki aren’t actually twins. That’s the first thing. Jackies first Pokémon she wanted to catch was an eevee, the tiny fuzzy Pokémon sounded like an amazing cuddle partner and an easy enough first catch, and she quickly managed to find and capture Rorsch. However on the train home she found an eevee, sleeping under the seats, angry and alone. She took the same train every night and eventually it became common sight for passengers to see the two reviews curled up around her sleeping form. She caught Tsukki and the two have been close ever since. They did everything together despite their very different natures, Tsukki brash and quick to judge and Rorsch calmly and logically. 

When the two evolved (Tsukki first surprisingly and Rorsch the upcoming dawn) Rorsch made it a habit to clean up after both his trainer and his brother with his new psychic abilities and Tsukki used his unique patterning to light up the nights so the trio could always see where they’re going. They tend to stick quite close to Jackie and if you see the twins their trainer isn’t far away, while her other pokemon take to wandering a bit more.

Chip is another abandoned pokemon, though Jackies meeting with him was a bit more aggressive than Tsukkis. 

Fossil recovery is a newer process and not every trainer knows what they’re going to get. As far as Jackie can tell, Chip was recovered and the trainer was put off by his looks, so they released him out onto the beach. Unfortunately introducing any new pokemon into the wild where they don’t belong can be bad, especially if that pokemon is new to this world entirely and has no idea where he is or what’s going on. He lashed out a lot at the wildlife until he managed to secure himself a bit of a home, constantly fighting anyone who came near. Eventually Jackie heard tell of it and curiosity got the better of her. A few fights between Charcoal and Chip and a big hug for the scared pokemon and Chip felt much more comfortable leaving safely with Jackie then defending himself constantly.

He was already evolved when Jackie got to him, probably from his constant fighting. Now he wanders from Jackies side a lot, not comfortable with other pokemon, and instead can be found in the caves and beaches doing as he wishes until dinner time. He tries his best not to lash out to any other pokemon but he’s still scared he’ll have to defend himself and his new home and it’s hard to break that habit, so Jackie is more than willing to give him the space to just be alone. Besides, he always comes back when he needs a hug.

Sols not an official part of the team in as much as he doesn’t have a pokeball, but he seems to have made himself part of it anyways. Jackie’s not sure how he managed to get onto the island or what his past is, but she is sure that he’s pretty young, quick to throw temper tantrums as he teethes his tusks, and practically stuck like glue to her ankles. The other pokemon have taken a liking to the tiny guy, as has Jackie, but she’s adamant to find his original trainer, if any, before she goes about adopting him permanently. 

Hope you enjoyed, I know it’s very long but I was having fun writing it and getting some of my pokemons stories out on paper- er- digital paper.

Man, I got bit by the OC bug for @prof-peach 's Dōtaku Island.

sigh.

Anyway! Meet Alice, a 22 year old barista/waitress (not sure what type of café it is on the island). After working as a barista in Castelia City for a year, she wanted to move somewhere a bit further afield.

She's only lived on Dōtaku Island for a few months, but she already has 300% more freckles and is getting more tanned every day.

She's used to the constant hustle and bustle of Castelia City so even the busiest tourist seasons won't faze her at work, but afterwards she does find herself idle. Maybe she needs to find out what she can do or help with in the evenings? Or she could learn to just chill out and enjoy peace when she has it. Wears a different ribbon every day.

Iris the bellossom likes to help in the café too, giving off a sweet aroma and being as kind and cute as possible. Loyal first pokémon of Alice's, gentle as a flower, but with a petal dance that will knock your socks off. (Flowers are hibiscuses <3)

Demetrius the skitty is a Troublemaker, enjoying getting up or into places he shouldn't be and generally disregarding any manners he is taught. The soothe bell has a dual purpose - the hopes to calm him down and so others can hear where he is/getting into more easily. (Alice should really try battling with him more and use up some of that energy.)

Jas the petilil insists on having a matching ribbon to Alice's, and loves helping out at the café - she's eager to evolve so that she can have arms and generally be able to help out more, but Alice thinks she's too young and should enjoy being a petilil for a while longer and not make this decision in haste. She's an absolute baby, the youngest and not in much control of her emotions.

... sigh. :) I just can't help myself.

Seeing those OC profiles for the Dakota Island on @prof-peach blog, I’ll jump in the scene as well ✌️

 Meet Zakaria!

·         Hailed from Southeast Asia, this 23-year-old person always wanted to do something that is beyond his comfort zone. As soon as he saw an ad about being a volunteer on the Dakota Island, he immediately signed himself up and departed to the island three days later.

·         Upon arrival, he was greeted by the professor herself. But she didn’t actually have a specific job to offer just yet, but Grey heard this commotion and offered the job to him instead, asking him to help him out at the workshop. Peach actually cool with it as Grey may need extra hand.

·         Today, he is an “Aspiring Assistant” (gave himself the title, much to Grey’s disapproval), helping on various day-to-day task, handyman work, repairing things, you get the idea… Critical thinker, hard worker, analyst and also able to work under pressure. Sometimes he’ll find a way to laze around, often lost in thoughts… Oh, and he is not a morning person either, Grey actually disapprove this as he usually wakes very early to restock the feeders for Pokemon and he really need his help to finish it faster.

·         He currently have three Pokémon that he brought along, Zaid the Dewott, Atam the Umbreon and Malik the Emolga.

·         Zaid has been his starter Pokémon since he’s started out as a trainer years ago. Decided to not evolve further for ‘personal reason’, he’s quite sensitive to that topic… (only Zakaria knows the exact reason) Other than that, he’s a loving Pokémon, always help Zakaria on all occasions and good with younglings. A bit of show off due to his nature, sometimes carried away if left unattended 😆

·         Atam was his pet for quite sometime as an Eevee, then evolved into an Umbreon while exploring during his trainer’s days. He’s a fine gentleman, always calm and gentle, but rubbing his belly is a big no-no. He chooses on who is acceptable to pet him. If yes, he’ll start nuzzles on you. Prof. Peach have a hard time to earn her own “petting license” from him, but he’ll warmed up to her, eventually… Great scouter, useful for detect any dangers, alert to sounds and very, very.. uhhh, ‘clown-ish’ for a Dark type Pokémon. Have feline instinct and character, also purrs loudly 😆

·         Malik was an unofficial Pokémon, mainly because he’s attracted to bird feeder that Zakaria’s built a year ago. After seeing this squirrel kept emptying the feeder, he changed the location and added some securities. But alas, somehow figured it out how to fish out the treats. Decided to keep him afterwards… A bit of oddball, extremely cheeky😆, very smart and affectionate to others (if food is offered afterwards…) Malik often hang out at Zakaria’s shoulder, sometimes at Grey’s head, thinking that it is a cosy ‘nest’. Self-proclaimed ‘Speedster’ claimed to be the fastest Emolga alive (yeah right XD). Always assists Atam when scouting the area, when he spots a potential danger, he’d warn Atam first before head back to Zakaria.

·         Grey actually glad that he have extra pair of hands as he can concentrate on other harder task. He usually gave mundane or daily task to him while he handle the rest. Their biggest achievement is when they both built an automatic watering system for Pokémon and the crops using the windmill as a generator. Took 6 months to complete and they were proud of it

 So that’s it for my OC for the Dakota Island volunteers. I hope you’ll like it!
