5 years ago I competed in my first championship volleyball match EVER. Not just professionally, my entire career. And we lost. But we were ok with that. The team that beat us was simply better. Too often people consider second place as the outcome of losing in the finals, instead of WINNING a silver medal. Screaming out loud because I'm about to board my first flight back overseas. A full 24 hours of travel puts me there Sunday evening, with my first practice with my new team in France on Monday.
