Apologies for the slight absence, everyone!

I've been so head-deep in my notes and studies over all the newly seen species native to Paldea, as well as their possible Grass- Type qualifications due to the Terastal Phenomenon, that I hadn't realized so much had happened and available plane tickets to visit the region are dropping tomorrow!

I better gather my things while I still can. These next few months are going to be wonderous for my research! I wonder if any past species will get new evolutions, like Girafarig and Farigiraf?

I have also heard rumors of one Pokémon sure to peak my interest. Something regarding a snail or slug made of dead leaves, like a Grass- Type Magcargo? I have seen stranger, but there is also little evidence of these claims. A scientist's work is never done, I suppose. Onward, to Paldea, my friends! I hope to see you all there!

Hmm... It appears that today is going to be rather slow.

Being cooped up here in Uva Academy while on this excursion to study the Grass- Types of Paldea has remarkably left me with little to do, recreationally speaking.

Excellent news from my personal life, everyone!

Much to my own apparent shock, Boltholomew, my Meltan, has apparently evolved into a powerful Melmetal!

And, good heavens, did he get far taller and heavier than he was initially! I’m not sure if he’ll even be able to fit through the doors to my home now. Time to remodel, I suppose! Hohohoho!

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, everyone!

Please do remember that, if you can’t afford to buy a tree, do NOT decorate your Grass- Types, as the ornaments and lights could get tangled and removing them becomes a nightmare for everyone involved.

The only exception would be a Torterra who has a pine tree on its shell instead of an oak, but that subspecies is extremely rare, so I personally advise against it.

Introductory Post

Greetings and Bienvenue, fellow Trainers and Researchers of all kinds!

My name is Professor Max Albies, and while it may not look like it judging by the shape of my personal team, I am an expert on Grass- Type Pokémon, from the most unassuming of Sunkern all the way to the mythical Celebi (the latter of whom I’ve had more than one personal encounter with) and beyond.

If anyone has any questions regarding my research, or are seeking general health and wellness tips in regards to owning Grass- Types for the first time, I’m all ears, and no question is too big or small.

If you wish, we can also settle down for a pint of tea. I do happen to fancy a piping hot cup of Earl Grey, after all.

Ahem, I do seem to be getting off topic. Regardless, I do hope you enjoy your time here on my new... Er, what do the kids call it? A “Blog”? Ah, yes, that’s it.
