Dad Matthew de Clermont?
Matthew is a protective but fair father. If anyone messes with any of his kids (no, Benjamin doesn't count) then Matthew is there to protect them.
I can see him in the beginning after having been turned as only being fully in control around children, his father instincts kicking in more than his hunger and rage. After all he always wanted to be a father.
We know he said he would never be able to have the feeling of fathering children biologically again, and that must've hurt him, even if he came to terms with it over the centuries he's been around, so him finally having the twins with Diana would be a joyous day for him for sure. He does love them all equally, but he does have a soft spot for his daughter, Rebecca, maybe more so since they're more alike.
