(I was originally just going to do Limeleech + weakness but EGGS made me laugh so hard I think I have to do both)

This had been a mistake. Limeleech rolled over to look at the sleeping faces next to her - her colleagues now, she supposed. Stupid. She still couldn't quite place her standing in the group, but she wasn't so naive as to think they saw her as an equal. They'd been travelling together for years, and here she was as some interloper. Hells, the invitation might have just been a formality, not something she was actually supposed to accept.

(And she hadn't, the first time. They'd offered another.)

Well. It was too late now. She would just have to prove her worth.

Skriss wondered, sometimes, if she was deceiving herself. Was this version of her the real one, or did she only want it to be? Perhals she was only masking an innate nature hidden even to herself. She thought of how much she had changed since meeting her colleagues, and the version of her they had somehow seen past. Was the taste of blood still part of her?

"So are you finishing that omelette or not?"

Skriss scowled, but part of her relaxed. No, if she actually had an innate blood thirst, she would have killed Y a long time ago.
