Alright Guys...
I made a tiktok...and I’m gonna make a #hogwartsprofessors oc... Her name is gonna be Professor Sebastra Valmira and She’s gonna teach Muggle Fiction: a study in how the nonmagical look into our world.
She’s a Ravenclaw, and though she pretends to be above it, she has a thing for Pine even though she knows he only has eyes for Professor Darling. At least she has company in Professor Raine...right?
Uh, yeah...we’ll see if anything comes of it, but my username is Mystic_Scriptures (lol bc what else am I gonna use)
Add me if ya want, or hit me up with ideas on what audios to do~!
So I made this pair of Pokemon characters for my DnD campaign a few months ago who happen to be an old professor who walks with a cane and his assistant who happens to be his grandson. Turns out I made the prediction of the century
i had that idea of beardy Chris Pine with glasses (not his usual ones because i think that they’re to massive and heavy). i am in trouble am i not?
whoops, i havent posted here in foreverrr. sorry, life got in the way! ive actually been using my deviantart more.
here’s some of the drawings ive been doing. professor pine, and reese!
I’ve been planning a Pokemon DnD campaign for a while now and it’s all starting to come together. Here’s a little taste of it.
On the left is Professor Patrick Pine. He's the Pokemon Professor of the Halifax region and has been studying the habitats that Pokemon live in for nearly all his life. He loves to help young people prepare on their journey and will often travel along with them so he can see them grow. Although he's not able to do it much now that he's getting older.
On the right is his assistant/grandson, Sean 'Jack' Pine. He's living with his grandfather so he can become Halifax's Professor once he retires. He's rather clumsy and is often seen tripping over himself and dropping important items. He studies the impact of humans on Pokemon and plans to take up Patrick's position as the regional professor once he retires.
Fun fact: the thing Jack's reaching for is what Halifax's Pokedex looks like.
I also have the starters already drawn out. If you guys would like to see, let me know.
Here is an interesting topic that I don’t typically explore- berries. My assistant has been... very intrigued over how berries impact Pokémon, and I figured I should put some of my conclusions on the topic here, just so it can be concluded for future reference.
Berries that impact a Pokémon’s status are typically quite helpful- as not only will Pokémon be more likely to eat them on their own if they have been inflicted with the status condition, but they’re also as helpful as normal items of the same type, such as antidotes and awakenings.
If you’re curious, typically those items are developed for more industrial areas where berries are less likely to grow. But they are still popular even in smaller towns, as it’s something you can stock up on quickly in the moment, as opposed to waiting for the berries to sprout in the correct weather. Status healing items are most popular during the wintertime, where berries are less likely to sprout.
However, the only downside is the waste of a turn in battle- and out of battle, unless you’re specifically buying seeds or the berries on their own, you do in fact have to pay for potions and other healing items. That’s why it’s always good to stock up. Plus, some healing items such as Full Heals and Full Restores can heal several conditions at once, such as poison and confusion. Luckily, no two major conditions can affect a Pokémon at the same time. But confusion can affect a Pokémon no matter what they’re already dealing with.
In conclusion, pick items and berries wisely. It’s good to have both if you’re a trainer, but if you specifically choose to live with only one or two Pokémon in a normal day to day circumstance- it can be much more helpful to simply grow a small berry garden or something of the sort.
Although, doing that can attract other Pokémon to your backyard, and that can be equally unpleasant. Simply enough, pick your battles wisely, and stock up however you feel would be best for your personal situation.
Thank you for reading, I’m still setting up the camera system, my assistant has been busy. She knows about this better than I do, unfortunately.
Hello. I doubt this message will go through, but my colleagues are suggesting I try and document my findings through a blog format.
I suppose it’s reasonable, as the younger generation of trainers are typically on their computers and phones when it comes to learning about the daily care of their Pokémon, and it would be helpful for new trainers to get information that can help.
Regardless, I should get to the point. Hello there, my name is Professor Pine. I specialize in Pokémon items, whether that be stat assisting, physically modifying, or evolutionary.
If you have any questions on Pokémon items, or any concerns with your own Pokémon, you can certainly ask.
I may have to explain a few health concerns I’ve seen with some new trainers, so this is also a helpful resource for those looking for it.
Thank you for reading, I will try to include visuals for reference when I have something important to note.
