I'm a lover of stories…

But I've never fallen in love with the characters or wished they were real. I've only felt this once with a book. However, I'm feeling this now with Ace Attorney and I've felt it with Professor Layton too. I have this HUGE urge to hug the characters, tell them they'll be okay, and be their friends. I want to hang out with them, tell jokes with them, and SO MUCH MORE because… They inspire me. That's it. They inspire me to be just as wonderful as they are. What is it about video game characters that makes me feel this way? Am I crazy for feeling this way?
