gentlemen, i've had enough of this weirdness:
( for the non-dedicated/light-hearted characters ) she'd never admit it but this woman has too much time on her hands. More often than not she'll be knee-deep in some sort of shenanigans and unknowingly involve other people. It's also common for her to research legends and explore the mysteries of Thanalan with the small wish that she might happen across something fantastical. However, some of these myths lead people far and deep into the dangerous areas so she's taken to remain within the city borders until she's found someone dependable to weather her fearful nature and combat weak tendencies.

( for academic/bookworm related characters) the love of history and Ul'dahn culture came from her mother, who was locally known for her passion in research and frequent academic contributions to the city. She eventually became a pivotal source of information when it came to history and was requested by scholars for her no-nonsense approach and can-do personality. Juliet was determined though to not achieve her own dreams by riding on her family's coattails so she's taken to personal networking by becoming an errand girl to scholars and researchers.

( for crime/rich/underworld related characters ) during her teen years, she suffered a horrid bout of naivety and impatience, trusting the wrong crowd who promised instant gil to fund these excursions she was desperate to embark. not only were they completely false but ended up landing her in a heap of debt to the most unsavory of ul'dah. it's been turns since this incident but she is still paying them back, if not by gil then through small-time favors that are oft of the illegal variety. without having any kind of reputable background she continues to count on them for funding her small projects in return for these favors, landing her to meet strange and dangerous people.

( for mercenary/thrill-seeking related characters ) she’ll easily approach the most intimidating warrior but balks at the idea of adventuring into a dark, spooky place filled with undead and .. bugs.
so she came up with a proposal: accompany her to any field project or excursion, protect her from said beasties and bring her back alive. whatever treasure you find? it’s yours, just keep your mitts off any object of historical value. some say it’s a pretty dumb idea considering she gets little out of it but what they don’t know is that if nobody volunteers, her generous ‘benefactors’ supply their own cut-throat muscle men instead. (see under: corrupt brass blades or lower tier members of the syndicate)

( unknown nonsense that may arise ) there are moments when there will be completely interactive NPC's to help build the world of Ul'dah more just beyond the tavern and alleyways, some characters are more prolific than others but generally, I avoid any well-known and existing characters in the story. there might be times when you won't be RPing with Juliet for a time depending on what alignment your character falls under.

❧ i work 8-5 with thursdays and sundays off with an EST timezone. sometimes real life can get pretty hectic so i'm not always in-game every day or idle in AFK land.
❧ looking for long-term/short-term storylines! maybe even an FC down the road. with themes I enjoy anything from dark, serious to light-hearted and casual even if juliet is pretty goofy. tend to be pretty lore-savvy but not against creative differences at all, so long as there are consequences.
❧ my preference for roleplay is discord with pre-planned appointments for in-game stuff but I'm honestly okay with both but if there are preferences, we can work stuff out!
❧ pretty chill person! i love getting to know the folks I RP with and helping others do content. I like communicating with my roleplay partners and I don’t ghost, so I prefer the same! so if anything happens in RL or if you just aren't feeling it anymore, s'completely fine! just lemme know.
