Ya’ll really wanna go. Alright. I’ll start at the beginning and work my way to the present.

Her name is Rootkit and she’s a Decepticon. She was originally unfactioned and survived by hacking into cybertronian mainframes during the war and selling the information to the highest bidder with the attempt to get her and her sparkmate/conjunx Herculex off of the planet so they wouldn’t have to deal with it. One day she left to go sell off some information and came back to find her hideout destroyed, blown up pretty much, with Herculex in the rubble. She found out that it was done by Autobots and, spurred by vengeance, joined the Decepticons with the intent to make them pay.

During her time in the Decepticon ranks she ended up working at a facility owned by one particularly twisted asshole named Mindwarp (Who belongs to my friend Justin and was previously named Psyche but became kind of a Dr Jekyll/Mr Hyde scenario through some stupid shit Shockwave pulled). Through a series of successful high level missions, and some minor hacking into the mainframe, she quickly rose in ranks to a point where Mindwarp himself developed an interest in her, and brainwashed her into working for him as his personal guard. He also brainwashed her into falling in love with him, because he’s a twisted fuck, and did all kinds of horrible things to her while she was under his control.

Later on in some stroke of clarity, Psyche came back to the surface and realized what a horrible person he’s been, by Decepticon standards, and releases Rootkit and his other 2 special Chosen Ones. He chucks her in a stasis pod and sends her off to Megatron, with the hopes that she’d be able to fix herself and contribute to the Decepticon cause by her own free will.

Fast forward later, the pod crashes on Earth and sends out a Decepticon distress signal and is found by Soundwave and Knockout. The second it opens she basically sprints off, reveling in her newfound freedom and the fact that she doesn’t have to take orders from anybody anymore, but is quickly pulled back by the two and brought to the Nemesis because like, Megatron isn’t gonna want some rogue Decepticon running around.

After a brief Cortical Psychic Patch that Megatron enstates to make sure she’s not some kind of traitor or sleeper agent, he gives her the ultimatum to work with him, which she accepts for the sole reason that she likes his computer system setup. Throughout the course of her time there she has some pretty bad PTSD episodes via her old brainwashing, and often goes to Knockout for regular joint checkups and to also kind of vent. Knockout is technically also a psychiatrist so, he medicates her, helps her get through these episodes, and they grow like a sort of codependent relationship. She goes to him for regular checkups so she can function correctly, and he finally gets to talk with somebody who’s not insane or hell bent on overthrowing Megatron or getting him involved in any stupid shit. This is after Breakdown dies in the series.

She eventually also gets kind of close to Soundwave because like, they both work on the computers and are both pretty good hackers, so she’s gotten really good at ‘listening’ to him and understanding him when he’s around.

Currently I’m rping with a friend after Megatron’s disbanding of the Decepticons after Beast Hunters, and well into Robots In Disguise after Soundwave escapes the Shadow Zone.

Basically what happened is Rootkit and Knockout work with the autobots now and considering they’re like, the only ones from the nemesis, and also have been through some shit, they’re currently in a relationship in my rps with my partner Coop.

But uh
