Profollica promises to stop baldness and it offers the possibility to regrow lost hair using a three component strategy. Normal hair fall is approximately 50 to 100 hairs each day but a receding hair line or thinning crown is a cause for concern. Hair loss may be due to poor food regime, stress, illness, drugs or other factors, but the most typical cause is genetics. According to the American Hair Loss Association, male pattern baldness (MPB) accounts for more than 95% of male hair loss and 25% of men with MPB begin losing their hair before the age of 21.
