How does the rest of Profugus view what is happening in Panymium? Have plagues every been sighted/occurred outside of Panymium? Does information and news of Profugus still pass through the merchant ships, or has Panymium become mostly isolated?
Panymium has been isolated from most outside contact since 1404. People sneaking in and out of Panymium from that point is incredibly rare as, even though nautical travel is probably much easier with the aide of magic, funding such a project would probably require funding from a kingdom or the Empire.
With that in mind, it’s fairly reasonable to say that the rest of Profugus has absolutely no idea what Plagues are, since the first Plague was born in 1399, and there were only probably a sparse few hundred by 1404.
