 THE WORLD IS FULL OF PATHS,      paths   never   taken,     the   paths   that   would   have   lead   to   happiness,     paths   that   may   have   changed   everything.     with   every   part   of   life   there   seem   to   be   an   impossible   number   of   options   that   follow   every   choice   they   have   to   make.      who   they   could   have   been   if   they’d   skipped   work   on   the   right   day,      if   they’d   just   avoided   the   moments   that   caused   change   like   ripples   leading   to   a   tsunami.

HER SMILE COMES FAST,     with  a  vibrancy  that  shouldn’t  be  possible.    were  it  not  for  the  intelligence  she’s  proven  time    &&    time  again,     perhaps  it  would  be  easy  to  label  it  as  childlike  wonder.     death  comes  to  all  things    -    both  great  and  small    -    but  to  truly  live,     to  get  to  be  part  of  true  change.     there’s  a  point  coming  where  there  will  be  no  going  back,     for  them  or  the  world,    and  maeve  has  to  wonder  if  they’ll  even  notice  when  it  becomes  no  more  than  another  passed  moment.

perhaps  it’s  already  gone.    she  can’t  imagine  normality  when  there’s  so  much  to  learn.
