Ay some new Junior x Atlas art.. I have been experimenting with art style so I had to draw them a bit. :3

This first one is leaning towards Masc Atlas (bc Atlas is a genderfluid character!)

In the second pic I was also messing with their circuit colors based off a snippet I wrote for my fic of them.. which is in heavy production rn..

While perusing the lore illustrations I’ve posted already while thinking over how to tag them in a good way for folks wanting to go back through them, I realized I had revealed a character that I haven’t made a introduction post on yet. Granted, like Francesca and the Sugar Glider, they become Way more important in arcs that take place Way after Forces, but Phantom is VERY connected to the Phantom Ruby, which is SUPER important throughout Forces. So this could be a cool way to talk about some Phantom Ruby lore I’ve been cooking up.

As for Phantom herself, 'species’ wise, she’s technically a security program made by Exxie’s copy of the Phantom Ruby. She and.... sibling??? programs??? are all particularly ruthless hunters, though Phantom is notably the least experienced in her job thanks to Exxie REFUSING to use her copy of the Ruby, despite TECHNICALLY being older than the two I have yet to reveal? Phantom is primarily shaped by Exxie’s pugilism trauma thanks to the ruby collecting data from it’s user’s mind, really taking hold after she winds up at the wrong end of Metal Sonic’s fist. Early on in their life (Forces arc), Phantom bore a closer resemblance to Infinite, since Exxie did start off terrified of him. In contrast to her “master’s” meek and more healing nature, Phantom acts much more like a wild, ravenous animal with a fighting style revolving around crushing their victims under their claws. She also will actually use the abilities of the Phantom Ruby, which Exxie refuses to.

If Exxie were to use her Ruby’s sleep rays, Phantom hunts their victims down within the Phantom Delusion and kills the victim’s true body through flooding the brain’s pain signals until the brain flat out just can’t handle it anymore. The body within the delusion is viciously beaten to death.
