In commemoration of the one year anniversary of the 2018 Pyeonchang Olympics, let our first post be of Shoma Uno’s Turandot 2.0 costume. Designed by Satomi Ito, Uno’s costume is one of the most memorable costumes of the 2017-18 season. The gold threading and beading along with the ruby red details over the sapphire blue velvet fabric definitely evoked a royal vibe. The v-neckline and the colors suited Uno perfectly. Details on this costume, such as the iridescent blue mesh sleeves and the subtle beading both on the sleeves and on the lower part of the top, were magnificent. Definitely one of my favorite costumes from last season.
