Purple hues scanned the open air, watching the thin, angel-like snowflakes cascade slowly from the heavens above her. Snow was one thing that never changed for the detective. People came, people left, but snow stayed the same. It always arrived on time, it always left when it was supposed to. It felt like one of those 'constant' things, not something that was as spontaneous as humans. Winter was the season where many humans left, may that be by moving or... Something worse. Yet Winter always stayed around for the time that was pre-destined.
Sometimes, it's good to know something you enjoy won't change or disappear suddenly.
Her eyes flickered from the skies above her to the view in front of her, meeting the figures of her classmates playing in the snow. They looked like they were having fun... Even if Leon was basically murdering the other students with his pro-baseballer pitches in snowball fights. The sleuth let out a small chuckle at the shenanigans occurring around her, before watching a smaller, more fragile snowflake glide in front of her, falling into her palm softly. Her head tilted to the right at the flake, before it seemed to break at the slight twitch of her hand.
Well, not everything lasts forever...
