So I spent the weekend making something interesting. I wrote up some python code that automatically loads a YouTube video page, and scrapes it for comments. Then I cleaned up the comments a bit and used related artwork as a mask. Most used words are rendered larger, and words used together are generally rendered together. The Lucy one was made from comments on @pompadorkery's latest 'bury a friend' animatic. While the Valak (@machonachos) and Angelo one was made from comments on 'sunset lovers' and 'bulgy wolgy'. Just thought it'd be fun to make art from the people for the people 😉.
