I miss my island

Wow love all the pictures of your trip. What was the cost. Did you have to rent the canoe also. Was it just you or did you take your gf along

Renting the island campsite was only 20$ per day and the canoe was 25$ per day. It is very very much Backcountry camping with 0 amenities, all you get is a wooden table and a fire pit. Plus you have to row all the way out there by yourself. Also, The Indian River lagoon is beautiful but it is called Mosquito Lagoon for a reason. This style of camping isn't something the gf enjoys (or really most people I know), so I just went by myself. It became kind of a self-care trip and I really enjoyed it just being alone with nature ... Except for the racoons, those clever bastards stole my trash.

Went on a camping weekend at Cape Canaveral National Seashore. You can rent out you own little island just for you ... Well and the racoons too.

Lol this line of questioning is just a tad bit personal. Almost accusatory? Due to time constraints, Sara came down the last time without me to drop off the dog, now I've gone down to pick up the dog. Equivalent exchange. It's a long drive and making it back to back is a huge pain.
