Its one of those things, wherever you go or work you can guarantee someone essential is working on a different system to you and requires you to have that particular variation of font that they have. However not all fonts were created equal. Some are saved in Truetype or Opentype or Dfont depending on where you got it from or what system you're using.
This nifty little tool is a quick online converter that quickly allows you to upload your font and receive it back in your chosen format. Easy to get fonts that come loaded on Mac or PC without repurchasing them.
