Holy cow. Actually I was a panda 🐼. I needed a progress picture today, I've felt bloated and shitty all week and just needed SOMETHING to remind myself that I've done good for myself. On the left, I was a junior in college, I had to buy a 'costume' that consisted of a headband, paw gloves, and a panda tail (so cute btw) because it was something I knew I could fit in. I couldn't wear a 'slutty panda' costume because I literally couldn't squeeze into any costume the store had ((including plus size 😳)) I was probably 280 and couldn't get myself into a size 2XL. On your right, you will see cute prom me at the tender age of 18. I couldn't shop at a normal prom dress like store and had to go to David's Bridal and order a size 24...then had to get it altered to let it out. Today I wandered into my local Macy's and picked up the blue dress in the middle picture. I debated, it was on clearance so they only had a medium and an extra small. I had a huge load of stuff in my arms so I figured if I couldn't squeeze in it wouldn't be the end of the world and I could find some other less cool dress to fit in and feel good in a large. But it fit. I even had wiggle room! I picked it up as a 'goal dress' and unknowingly I have become my own goal. THIS is why I go to the gym, even when I don't want to. THIS is why I pick the right foods when I can. THIS is why I go the extra mile. I feel on top of the world and I can't wait to head to the gym tonight. 👍💪
