Writing / Life Update (Sort Of)

I am solidly in a "consume" or "interact" phase at the moment. Meaning I am reading and playing video games a lot in my limited free time and not "creating", which is usually writing for me, and, when the mood strikes, fiber arts. It's been this way for a few months now.

This does not mean any WIPs are abandoned, just that updates will be a while.

No, I don't have timing. I go with the flow of what the soft animal of my body wants: if I want to read or play video games, I do so. I don't force myself to write, though my stories are never far from my mind.

Anywho, no regrets. Just wanted to send a note into the void for the few of you who are here.

I am once again in the midst of Phantom Mania. Usually this only happens after I see the musical live again, but Phantom closing on broadway has me listening to the soundtrack again.

Besides the HuaLian AU, I started a POTO modern AU back in 2019 after seeing the show again. I reread it last night and forgot how good it was. Will likely be cleaning it up and posting along with the HuaLian POTO AU since that's what my brain wants right now.

Sorry current WIP list, you are just going to keep getting longer.

Been listening to @subtlybrilliant 's Bird Grandpa playlist that we co-currate and let me say it makes not having time to write O14 fic unbearable.

Over the pasy week I completely thought out a new fic but likely won't have time to write any of it down until mid-November. On top of that, I have one piece in progress that I got to work on while traveling for vacation a few weeks ago.

Oh, and then there are the danmei WIPS (not abandoned, but temporarily not my main focus).

I miss lockdown and having time to write most of all.
