Another headcanon of sorts. I imagine that Osiris wasn’t, and still isn’t, a big fan of personal touch; especially when he was just a New Light. I don’t think affection came naturally to him, so he was always very awkward with how he reciprocated it; my mind thinks of him leaving little gifts and knick-knacks at people’s desks as a thank- you. There’d be no note, no nothing, but the others knew exactly who it was from.
But, I think that after meeting Saint, he became more accepting of physical affection. He was still rather selective of it, but with Saint, he found himself seeking it out more. Almost like a cat? He’d disappear for a few hours, then come back and just stand really close to Saint with at least one point of contact on the Titan (like a hand on his arm or on the small of his back, or his chin resting on his shoulder etc.). He’s still awkward, but he’s trying 🥺
