Design 2

Project 1- In this project, students are required to visit the assigned location.  The site our section were assigned are called “Khlong Lot Wat Ratchabopit”.  We were required to select two parameters.  One from each Spatial and Atmospheric and then put together in a collective map.  Then later developed a field located in that area ( Constructing Situation)

Project 2 - As students were required to select a film to develop cities, The one that I’ve got is called “Caro Diario”.  The film is about a man, which is the director himself, riding his motor bike around downtown Rome.  The movie shows different kinds of architecture and artefacts as he exploring different part of the city.  The parameter that I chose is “different heights of the roads” which I stick with from the first to last phase (City, Building, Unit).

Project 2.3 NIKE Story

Laatste project van Periode 2. Dit project hebben we in januari gemaakt. NIKE wilde hunzelf milieu bewuster voordoen dan ze eigenlijk zijn. Dit neemt natuurlijk niet weg van het feit dat ze echt duurzamer zijn geworden.

De vormgevers moesten dit uiteraard aan de wereld laten zien! Wat we moesten leveren was: - Website over duurzaam produceren van Nike schoenen. - 3D prototype van zuil waar schoen op komt - 30 sec infotorial van NIKE schoenen. - Fotografisch storyboard. - Perspectief tekening van Zuil, video en website naast elkaar, in een NIKE winkel.  We hadden maar 1,5 tot 2 weken tijd voor dit project. Normaal hebben we 3 weken.

Project 2.2 Kan je zonder?

Bij onze 2e project in de 2e periode (November-December) hadden we het over Gameverslaving. Trimbos instituut was onze ‘klant’

We moesten een poster en 2 verschillende flyers maken voor het instituut. Ook een storyboard van hoe een dag van een gameverslaade eruit ziet. En tenslotte een short movie over een jongen die gameverslaafd is. Het idee was om ouders op te hoogte te brengen van de gevaren van Gameverslaving bij kinderen. En dat ze bij Trimbos terecht kunnen voor hulp voor hun verslaafde kiddo’s. 

Met andere woorden: Het was een anti-gameverslaving campagne. We hadden 5 weken de tijd voor dit project.

Project 2 /neighbours

I continued to design the habitat through drawings, models, images and text. The characteristics of my habitat were primarily defined from outside - its building mass. Then I unfolded the interiority of the habitat through the development of a scenario of inhabitation based on the detailed design of your habitat.

ELEMENTAL EXPERIENCES: SPATIAL SEQUENCES

I developed the idea from the instrument one which is dealing with Wind & Sound. It consisted of 5 spaces for two humans to interact. For my spaces, they are all created to facilitate humans by being a space like a residence in different purposes. 

First space is made of paper which is created for music room as it can reflect a good sound. Second space is made of air bubble wrap which is tend to be a kitchen as it has chimney for ventilation. Third space is made of aluminium for living room. Fourth space is made of net which is for exercise as the inhabitants need to climb through it. Fifth space is made of knitting wools which is created for bedroom as it can help reducing sound.
