Ok, so that thing with the buttons I mentioned in the tags on that photo earlier. Lemme see if I can articulate this..

So I kinda want the main site to be those blues (although I need to figure out a way for it to not look quite so boring). But the round version of the Project Achieve logo with the blue looks something like this:

And that's what the button I ordered looks like (as well as the stickers).

Now, it was suggested early on into this project, and I apologize I don't remember who exactly it was, that the site be sectioned off in a sense when it came to the projects. So it's kindof been sticking in my mind that there can be an environmental projects section, a tech projects section, etc, such forth, and so on.

So what if I had buttons for each of those sections as well?

In my mind, this would allow people to get entire sets of buttons to promote the site, or one particular smaller set of buttons that pertains to what they do on the site. So.. Let's just say that the volunteers part of the site is orange. So anyone who volunteers has an option to get orange buttons. But it wouldn't just be the Project Achieve logo.

My idea is that the "Project Achieve" button is what you see above. But each section actually has a somewhat unique button that looks something like these:

Green would definitely be the color for environmental stuff, but I just picked random colors for the others.

But yeah, this was my idea. >.>'

Website still isn't live, but I am working on it. The parents are out of town this week so I should be able to get a lot more work done on it.

Just wondering, if some of you don't mind going to this page and telling me what you think of the layout and such. Also the donations bar. Any feedback on that would be super helpful.

I might actually forego the buttons for now but they're definitely happening at some point js

I mean those things look sleek as hell. And I kinda want one for myself.

Or maybe I could just get one, forget doing one for each of the two sizes, and see how the one works...

Ok, so this is an itty bitty updatey kinda thing not even really worth mentioning, but you know how I've been having computer troubles and lost all my files and such? Well it didn't hit me until today, but that means I lost the font that I installed for the Project Achieve logo.... And seeing as I don't remember the name, I've spent the last two hours or so attempting to visually match the font with other fonts online.

So I've found one that's incredibly similar, but not quite the same. You'd only really be able to tell the difference if you studied the font (or had the two fonts side-by-side). Anyway, I'm going to use this one that's really similar, meaning there's gonna be a bit of an update to the logo.

But like I said, it's super small and not even worth mentioning, but I felt like I should anyway. e__e

Correction on that text post from earlier. If I get youthachieve.us, it would be free forever so long as I continued to purchase hosting. \o/

ok so actually I can get project-achieve.org for free every year so long as I buy hosting, and then I can also get youthachieve.us for $4 and transfer it if I wanted... this is actually turning out to be much better. >:D

Easy to remember

Matches the twitter handle (@youthachieve) ((which helps with remembering it as well))

youthachieve.us would act as a redirect to the main site, something a lot of people seem to use nowadays.

The rest of the money from the Crowdfunding Campaign just showed up (it actually showed up two days ago but I didn't check until today cause I didn't think it'd show up that soon oops).

Anyway, that means I can buy hosting and a domain really soon! :3

Still debating project-achieve.com, project-achieve.org, and projectachieve.co though.

Also, although I originally wanted to release the site on June 1st, it may end up being a bit later than that. Since I'd lost all my CSS files for the site (which for those of you who don't know, CSS controls all the aesthetics; much harder to re-create than the content itself), I'm having to pretty much completely re-make the website.

Hopefully that won't take me all week, but I want to make sure everything is working properly and set up a few other things for the site before it's actually released. So it may not be until mid June or beginning of July until it's finalized. (Also there's some church stuff I have to start working really hard on - VBS stuff - so that's gonna take some time out of my days too).

So yeah, opinions needed. Any suggestions you have for the website are greatly appreciated. Remember, this is for everyone, that includes you, so you having a say in this is very important and will help to determine how this all goes.
