the 3 main teachers of the academy, Pandora, Soleil and Selene
pandora is the peacekeeper of the trio, a badass 71 y/o who lost her arm and her life in a war that devastated most of the world. in her dying moments, she claimed to have heard the voice of a god who offered her a position in the ARK-A, and leads the shinigami in the unending war against the daemons
not much is known about soleil, even to the all-knowing Epica, but pandora took him under her wing after witnessing a ‘tragic miracle’ that took his life. soleil is forever at odds with selene due to her ‘string-cutter’ reaper, which he perceives as a threat to his fate-based reaper, ‘deus ex’
selene was a young girl brought up amidst war and bloodshed, and died protecting her mother from enemy soldiers. pandora picked her out from thousands of other child-war victims due to her ‘tragic eyes’. her ‘string-cutter’ reaper can slice through all strings, even the strings of fate
