Since announcing that Project Daily will finish at the end of the month I have received much love from followers wishing it would not end. It makes me quite happy to see that people have been enjoying this blog that much that they are sad to see it go.
Also people wanted to know if I had another blog they could follow and what my next project was.

While my new project is a bit different to Project Daily in that it is mostly a writing project. How to Love Comics is a blog with the aim of helping getting people who do not read comic books into them. It is still in it's early days but there is already some great articles on the blog.

The End of Project Daily
It is with sad news that I announce that Project Daily will be ending at the end of this month. The end of February will also coincide with the two year anniversary of Project Daily and I thought that this would be the perfect time to end the daily characters.
As to why I have chosen to end the daily characters it has mostly been to factors in my life. when I first started Project Daily I had plenty of time to spend on characters, even do multiple characters each day if I wished. Now-a-days with study, work, internships, love life and social life there has been a smaller and smaller time that I can allocate to the blog. It has been with this lack have time that means I cannot produce a high quality character to the standard that I want to produce. Also with doing this daily blog for almost 2 years it means I have gone through 99% of the ideas that I have wanted to try and lately I have been struggling to come up with quality ideas the same way that I used to. If you have been following Project Daily long enough you might have seen these two reasons effect my work.
But Project Daily isn't ending today and not even tomorrow, you still have two weeks so I highly recommend that you do not unfollow the blog just yet.
As to what I will be doing after Project Daily - I plan on taking a little break from character illustrations and focus on my new ongoing project, How To Love Comics. I may come back to character illustrations in the future after some time off but that is for future me to figure out.
I hope you enjoy the final two weeks of Project Daily and I will make sure to thank all of my followers, likers and rebloggers on the final day.

Project Daily, my daily character illustration blog, has been going strength to the strength in the past two days with it being featured on #Artists on Tumblr twice in two days.
It is always nice to see the blue surrounding a tag in my posts as it is a great indication that people are enjoying my work. I'd like to thank the editor(s) that allowed it to happen and everyone who has been reblogging/liking the characters.
