Project: Disaster! [idolsayakamaizono]
This class is soooo boringgg, Aya complained in her thoughts, watching the clock as time ticked by slowly. English class was easy enough for her, as her mother had taught her fluent English when she was younger. Even though she only partially retained the language, and writing in English proved difficult for her, she still held a greater understanding of the language as compared to the rest of the class.
Aya shifted in her seat, and began rhythmically tapping her fingers on her desk rather than listen to her teacher drone on about grammar rules she already knew. Distracted by her own thoughts, Aya failed to hear her teacher explaining a project they were assigned.
"Kaneshiro," Aya snapped back into reality at the sound of her name. "You'll be working with Maizono."
Maizono? Who the fuck was Maizo – Oh! That overrated pop princess!
Aya frowned at the thought of working with the idol; she was probably airheaded and expected to get by on only her looks. Despite this, Aya decided to try not to be too unpleasant, after all they were stuck together.
The blonde glanced over at Sayaka before glancing back down to her desk, where a sheet of paper explaining the project had been placed when she wasn't paying attention. Aya read over it slowly, and her frown deepened. The two were expected to make a short creative film outside of class, using one of the unit topics they'd learned in class this year. The video only had to be 5 to 10 minutes, but it wasn't as easy as it sounded for non-native speakers. Aya was already dreading this project, and the thought of working with a blue-haired bimbo only made it worse.
After the teacher was done assigning partners and answering questions, Aya made her way to Sayaka's desk and tried not to frown. "Yo," she greeted casually. "Looks like we're partners."
