Project Falcon (Unreleased) - The Knife - Butcher ship class by Alejandro Burdisio
The Falcon, for @campaignskyjacks
I had an idea to make Project Falcon a luminary when we first got news of them being born, but it took me this long to finally make it!
The piece is done in my best recreation of Carson Ellis's style, since I adore her art to the ends of the earth :3
Another adult Project, and the third member of Quebec and Blade's friend group (who me and a couple of friends have lovingly dubbed "The Frat Dads"). He was originally a lot meaner in his first concept, but the more I developed him, the more the idea of him being more gentle and sweet grew on me.
“Distrustful, grumpy and strict, Falcon started out a scrawny, weak and shy runt that was often picked on by Adam and his gang, but over time he grew into a mountain of a Project, only dwarfed by India by a few inches. The constant abuse and mockery at the hands of Adam have made Falcon closed-off and distrustful towards all but a select few, carrying out his duties based on the rules Ari set for them, not the megalomaniac cruelty of his former bully. Despite his scary face and gruff voice, Falcon is actually quite shy and gentle (one would go so far as to say kind) in personality, and tries his best to put people at ease, with mixed results.”
The city’s also testing Project Falcon, renamed on another submission to the Knight News Challenge as Scout.
About the grant submission, Goldstein said Scout would “aggregate data sources based on location ... Applications built using this interface will enable residents to interact with data in a way that’s structured around their day-to-day lives.”
