Maestro Hiccups 3: Chaos Incarnate Ch 76
Slamming down the LEFT Button, you quickly save Drew from getting electrified again, as he ducks behind a nearby food stall. You sigh in relief, but Kamek starts to aim towards Peach and Leo instead.
"LOOK OUT!" You shout as a flash from UP above shines. Leo jumps into a nearby tree to avoid his fate, while Peach dives DOWN into a fountain to save herself. Kamek begins to get angry as he shoots a bolt of lightening at the water, hoping to shock the life out of Peach. A flash from UP above the water as the princess jumps out before she meets her demise.
Kamek then spots Leo as he attempts to slowly escape. A flash from the LEFT appears as the Lizard Wizard aims his wand at Leo. Frantically pushing the button, Leo jumped left just as another bolt of magic shot at him. You begin sweating bullets again as Kamek begins to use his magic to electrify the floor.
Drew looks to see himself surrounded before a flash from the RIGHT appeared as he frantically scrambled away from the electrical floor. However, another flash came from the LEFT. Not realizing the danger, you attempted to jump towards towards the flash, when you witnessed Drew become electrocuted by a bolt of lightning that shot from the ground.
You looked in horror as he became nothing more than a pile of ashes on the ground and your lives 4 lives were reduced down to 3. You pale. Now that you lost one of the 4 lives, one of you would be thrown into the game...but which one? "G-Guys...I-a don't feel very good." Mario says as his body begins to turn to pixels.
The remaining 3 of you panic as you witness Mario getting sucked into the game, him crying out in pain as his body is torn apart in pixels piece by piece until there is nothing left. Once his body completely dissipates into the game, the horrifying realization that if you lose your last 3 lives, you would he next. The screen blinks the words "GET READY!" once more as the same scene plays out again, only this time Mario is shown with the group.
You remember what you did last time, however, you find yourself back at the electrified floor, and Mario is now with Drew. That's when the button with the words "LINK UP" on it began to glow and the screen now showed the words "LINKAGE ACTIVATION!" Your eyes kept jutting between the screen and the button. The game was obviously telling you to push it, but what if it was another trick, and you lost another life?
You then notice that there is a small timer near the words, and you realize that you needed to make a choice, and time was running out!
Time's Ticking and Lives are at stake, what do you do?
