I received a free copy of this in exchange for an honest review. Initially I couldn't tell where this was going at all. I couldn't place how the prologue fit in and had to keep going back to check I'd read and remembered it correctly. After 30 pages I had to go back to the start and read again as I felt I had missed something. I thought this was very slow moving. Which wouldn't have been a problem if there had been some indication of where the plot was going to build suspense, but there wasn't; until over half way through when the plot really kicked off. I struggled with the dialogue, as it read too formal and stilted between characters who were supposed to have been friends. Overall I was disappointed, but I think this was due to my personal reading preferences than the plot or writing.
