made this design of the princess in the witch and the flower of happiness!! might change some things later, though.

i imagine she’d be miku since it’s quite obvious for me the witch is conchita, and since it’s miku singing..

the song has some obvious references to eve, so i suppose she’s eve’s counterpart in this alternate reality. therefore, i incorporated some elements from eve and her reincarnations, like the ribbons, roses, calgaround’s big ass sleeves and chest ribbon. i also took some historical inspiration with 1830s-1860s gowns, but i don’t think it’s noticeable. i took some elements from riliane’s dress, too.

since they’re changing the characters’ appearances to kind of distance them from their vocaloids’ designs, i exchanged miku’s pigtails for low double buns that are styled to look like roses.

for me, the princess seems more serious and composed than eve or riliane for that matter. i like to think that she has traces of eve’s mental instability, and takes gift as medicine to soothe her symptoms.

How/when I got into EC

I first discovered EC through the Daughter of Evil series/the Pride arc (yeah yeah I know, how fucking original). I was doing homework and this was just when I first started listening to Vocaloid, I think I had put on JubyPhonic’s cover of Love Trial and was just letting YouTube autoplay do its thing. Then I heard her (JubyPhonic) cover of Daughter of Evil, and after that got a compilation of English covers of Daughter of Evil, Servant of Evil, and Regret message recommended to me. I listened to it, and I really liked it. Then I kinda forgot about it for a while, but in earlier last year, I re-listened to Daughter of Evil, looked it up, and I read some stuff on the EC wiki. I thought the entire thing was just the pride arc. But then I looked it up again late last year, clicked on the wiki, and uhhhh… got a little overwhelmed, to say the least. A few months later, I posted a poll on Tumblr asking if I should get into it, the majority said yes, and so after that I looked up a playlist of each of the sinner’s songs, looked up a playlist of EC songs in chronological order, and now we’re here. Sorry, that was a lot of yapping

Favorite songs and why

My favorite songs are right now are probably The Lunacy of Duke Venomania (I like how it sounds, and I’ve been picturing some parts as one of my hyperfixations. What can I say, im a simple man), Queen of the Class (MARIA MOONLIT/ALICE MERRY-GO-ROUND MY BELOVED <3333333333), Project Ma (again, I’ve been picturing it as one of my hyperfixations recently), and Recollective Music Box (FUUUUUUUUUCK IM CRYING!!!!!!!) (plus they all go hard as fuck). But those are just my favorites right now, that definitely will change overtime though

My favorite characters and why

Hmmmmm I’m not entirely sure, just because I haven’t had a change to read any of the novels or finish all the songs yet. But if I had to pick, I’d say my favorite character(s) are just Eve and all her incarnations. I love you Eve Moonlit, I love you Margarita Blankenheim, and I love you Mikulia Calgaround/Greenio and Platonic from what I’ve seen of y’all <33333 (I genuinely do not know a single think about Neo Eve besides the fact that she’s blonde and two apples tall). And tbh, I don’t know why I love them so much. I just kinda do. Oh also, MARIA MOONLIT MY BELOVED!!!!! 💕💕💕💕💕💗💗💗💗💗💗💖💖💖💖💖💖💞💞💞💞💞💞💓💓💓💓 I know we don’t know a lot about her, she’s just endeared herself to me
