The thing with Rafael is that he comes off as egnimatic to those who aren't close to him.

two seconds later, admits to it. I thought you had 'no memory'. but it's the fact he's acting like he had changed since his initial start on Tumblr (which he hadn't)

his weird fetishism of non-white people ft the gaslighting. how can you not be talking to minors anymore when your entire following is minors?? and the reason it was a problem that he was interacting with them is because he was making it inappropriate!!

there is a difference between a healthy friendship or familial type bond and what he was doing.

I just know that as someone the same age as him, I wouldn't have said those things to kids and I don't see how he could attempt to even justify it.

We had a few more interactions but out of an abundance of caution I followed my gut and just kinda… avoided his asks and further DM’s? Idk what made me feel uncomfortable about this exchange, but something did. Maybe it was introducing himself a comfortable with anything, or the “I’ll face reveal if you want to see,” or the clarifying that he was 18 (I was like I mean, that makes sense I guess? So you’re not chatting with little kids? But also, like, what are you planning on talking about) and I was 17 at the time so whatever, but yeah there’s nothing inherently incriminating here, this is just what made me personally decide to be cautious. My eyes are POPPING OUT OF MY HEAD at all these other examples. I should have known my instincts would be trustworthy.

It’s very good hearing that you listened to your instincts. Trusting your gut was the best thing you could do.

He’s used to messaging children, so I suppose it’s simply instinct to clarify his age. As I said in the document, though, this is clearly a tactic meant to corner younger users into agreeing, and the fact that he only clarifies his age in messages makes it harder for people to reject him
