PROJECT: NIDALEE background and hcs
Occurs as an offshoot of her main timeline, where she gets fatally wounded in a fight and her connection with her goddess is severed, i.e. the gem on her forehead is shattered. Unable to heal herself or even walk, her goddess is forced to take a semi-physical form and carry her dying host to the one person she knows can even begin to try to fix the situation: Viktor (communistofzaun). Although Viktor is able to save her life, he’s unable to save her physical body and has to replace parts of it with PROJECT tech, including her limbs, parts of her chest, her throat and parts of her face.
After regaining consciousness, Nidalee realises she is no longer fully human. She takes months to get used to her new body, how to transform, as well as how to read the images being transmitted into her brain from the sensors she now uses. In the months that she was recovering, her jungle went relatively untouched due to the presence of her goddess, but she knew she wasn’t done with what she had been chosen for.
Presently she lives within the jungles, her new body only making her even more of a silent, deadly huntress, and the vengeance she keeps in her heart only making her merciless and cold towards those who dared cross her.
