#nintendo #switch Unimpressive Nintendo. Your console is impressive. Your game launch lineup is not. You said the switch is infused with every system to date. Any old games coming upon launch? Unknown. The new Mario game? Not till next Christmas. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe? April. The new arms game comes later in the spring. I might get that one. Splatoon 2 is not until summer. 1-2 switch is a party game. Being at launch. I am not a Zelda Fan. So I am not exited about Breath of the Wild. That is a launch title. Super Bomberman R is a launch title. I will definitely get this one. Snip clippers is also right at launch. Just dance 2017 is as well as Has Been Heroes. You can use your smart phone games from Nintendo with the system too. Another doozy. Nintendo will allow us free ( trial ) online play until fall. ( limited to switch. ) once it kicks in, I would imagine we would have to pay at least $60 per yer. Again, unknown at this time. But it will have online lobby and voice chat. Too many younger people calling you a big fat stinky doo doo head for beating them might be in your future. Subscribers to online play will be able to get a SNES game or NES game ( with new added online play ) for free, for a month. I guess you don't get to keep it. No games with Nintendo Gold, or free games Nintendo Plus? But you will get special deals on games. Perhaps 50% off the featured game of the month, so if you like it, you can keep it. It comes with 32 GB Internal Memory. Micro SD cards can be bought with 64gb for $20 easy. When it is hooked up to the tv, the graphics are improved quite a bit, and without the charger the system has generally 3 hours battery life. Depends on what game. If we ever get a Nintedo Switch XL or New Nintendo Switch, I would imagine it would be improved. Only 5 titles available at launch or shortly after launch, and one game I might be interested in. Do I dare to make the switch?

Nintendo's secretive Project NX has officially been revealed under the name Nintendo Switch. As suggested by the rumors it is a cartridge driven, hybrid of handheld and home console. While a great deal is still unknown, we now know enough to form early opinions.

#nintendo #projectNX #switch So as we all know, Project NX was a place holder name. It has since been named Nintendo Switch. Like my Nvida Shield tablet, it can be played in tablet form. Just slide on the control sticks and button for each side. It goes from portable tablet, to console by sticking it in a dock. Just "switch" the buttons by sliding them onto a controller shell. You can also hand one of the sides of the tablet controllers to a friend too. Each "switchable" sliding piece has 4 buttons, a bumper, and a joystick. One controller will have a d-pad, but I suppose the game system is intelligent enough to convert those buttons. Perhaps allowing southpaws to play system wide instead of game specific? Back on the tablet it has a right stick, left stick, and 4 buttons, a d-pad, and two bumper buttons. Also tow buttons on each side. Perhaps start and select? My colleagues here have said it is what Wii U should have been. Nintendo has been working with Nvida, and since it is so much like my shield, I would have to say it may run android too. Allowing for their apps to be downloaded. Not much else is know at this time, other then the sorta seamless switching from console to portable, then snapping on controllers. The YouTube video I will link after this, but it shows us 1 controller shell ( included I hope ), 1 tablet, 2 slide on "switch" pieces, and a base to dock with your tv. So for some games, you can play two players on it. Otherwise like for Splatoon, each of four players needs a tablet, and one controller shell. Wireless synchronization? The price has not been released. However since Nvida Shield goes for $200, $300 for switch would not be out of line. Release date in video is March 2017, and no preorders are at this moment in time.

Well with 4 out of 6 people still here, our blog has been busy. Busy gaming, and not doing videos. More videos to come soon.

I myself am disappointed at Nintendo. I thought for sure they would release details of the NX at the Tyoko Game show.

Of course this is all based on The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild Release date. NX is reported to come out in spring because NX is supposed to have breath of the wild on it. The game is reported to come out in the spring because an Amiibo for the game was reported to have a release date on some website for March 2017.

So as you can see, NX is in spring because Breath of the Wild is in spring, because the Amiibo is in Spring.

Rumors are our stock and trade here, but highly unreliable.

Anyway, I myself have picked up an Imperial Edition of ESO, a week before the Gold Edition came out. I have been enjoying the freedom of weapon choice, armor choice, and of course the limitless possibilities that come from unlocking every skill. Level 11 so far.

Been playing it on and off. Got distracted by GW2 Season 3 episode 2.

Anyway, the one thing I do NOT LIKE, ( I cannot stress this enough. ) is the lack of information about the races, classes, and things to do in the game. They had videos. That is it. I had to do research to find out that stuff I wanted to know about the game. I have not played Elder Scrolls since Arena back 4 DOS, so that is my fault. The game was built from the ground up for people who have played Marrowwind, Oblivion, or Skyrim.

However, Basic information on races, classes, and on the world itself, are often on the homepage. I DID NOT LIKE that Elder Scrolls Online did not have that very basic of basics on their page.

Other then that, I am having a blast. The world is spacious enough that mobs are not bunched together ( looks at GW2, WoW, and Rift ) that I can go into first person mode. The hud also acts like a shooter, telling me where that attack came from, and what direction I need to turn. I do not get easily get overrun with 5 or 6 guys on me in an area.

Anyway, I am not going to be streaming, but I am going to plan on making YouTube videos during Extra Life. Extra Life is November 5th. We used to create a donation account that people can give money to, but no one gave any in the past 4 years of so of us doing it. So not this year. My special guest and I, have decided to do a free play. No set schedule like in past years. I plan on doing a half hour video on whatever I am playing, every hour. A total of 24 videos will be released here on Tuesday, November 8th. That is 12 hours or more of video we are uploading.
