I think this was a good casting for Rhysand.
So author Emma Christopher is signing books at our Half Price Bookstore, and I grab a copy, thinking I need to buy it at the register then get her to sign it. The cashier informs me I need to buy it directly from her, so I bring it back and start to apologize profusely.
And she says “Don’t worry, I’m super mom-confrontational, so I wasn’t going to say anything.”
I wanted to melt to the floor. I was so excited that I stole the book from her and she was so sweet she would have kept quiet. For next few hours when my shift starts, I’m treating her like a Queen for being so kind!
