To be honest, it’s way of personal headcanon absolutely every single one of them (with the exception of Tom) dislike this.

They will make fun of each other for doing what their girl tells them well secretly doing the exact same thing.

The deal is, they know that there might not be another girl who’s willing to put up with their shit. And once she is gone, they are alone with their thoughts.

I don’t believe a Slytherin can be left alone with their thoughts for long without their comfort person.

This is probably the stupidest question. I’m going to ask, but every time I hear the word “duel” mentioned in Harry Potter. I only have one question.

Is it like, do they pull out a glove and then slap them in the face with it “Sir/madam, I challenge you to a duel?”

Like I’ve said previously, I am severely American and it shows whenever I hear duel I imagine that. Like from The Simpsons, where homer went around, slapping people with gloves and challenging them to duels. That is my only frame of reference.
