I know there are a lot (sickeningly enough) of marauders stans that believe with their full chest that if Harry had been Harriet or Henrietta that he would’ve turned into Humbert Humbert and tried to start a relationship with her.

First of all, that’s disgusting. Second of all, I highly doubt it.

More than likely, Snape would have tried to resign (wouldn’t have been successful because of Dumbledore) and never set foot in that castle again. She would be a walking reminder of how Lily died.

Yes, so is Harry.

But say this is the face that he has to see every single day in potions class I don’t think he could withstand it.

He was in love with her, and his actions led to her dying. That would be utter torture. She would quite literally be haunting the narrative.

I like to imagine that all the Ravenclaw girls give their Yule ball candidates (not date, yet) a test and whoever passes the test gets to be the date to the ball.

My favorite part of this theory is the only ones that really are good at passing are the more studious Slytherins.

And this is a generational thing so it’s been going on for as long as Hogwarts has been a school so at one point in the 40s Tom showed up to take a test. Not because he wanted to go on a date or anything, but because he saw it as a challenge and accepted it.

Naturally, he passed with flying colors.

I literately just read a fic that felt like it might've been written by Tom Marvolo Riddle himself about how he doesn't feel jealousy while proceeding to tell us, the reader, what he has seen us do with such precision that it makes me wonder on a scale from 1 to 10 (1 being Jealous and 10 being so jeaous that he's gonna burn the entire castle down and turn everyone but us two into inferi) just how jealous he is.

Canon this time, I swear...

So, I was plucking for inspiration for my Fanfic so I decided to read Chamber of Secrets. I'm trying to decide how much of Tom Riddle I should pull to write Marvolo. I see him as a tribrid of Tom, Snape and Mattheo.

Anyway, onto my point for the post, I was reading Heir of Slytherin. Right at there part where Tom is just going on his "You're shocked and disappointed? I'm evil" monologue and I realized something.

There is no way that there wasn't, at least, a small part somewhere in the deep crevasses of his mind that it didn't piss him off to some degree how easily most of the Hogwarts staff believed him when he said it was Hagrid who got Moaning Myrtle killed.

Tom went on and on how he'd spent months researching all about Salazar Slytherin and the Chamber of Secrets and how brilliant he is. There is no way he wasn't killed of that they believed the one person who deems of lesser intellect committed this act without question.

Yeah, I know he said he was happy that it all worked out in his favor. But when it comes to how meticulous Tom is about every little thing he does that would piss him off. Maybe not right in the moment, but it would fester. Then BAM in the dead of night it would make its way to the front of his brain and he'd be fuming... and fixating.

Girl from the Real World: No, no, no, no. This cannot be right! Something's really weird here. Tom: (having his thought and precious time taken from him) Can you shut it, or take that outside? Some of us are trying to read about long forgotten forms of forbidden magic. Mattheo: (mockingly) Oh poor Tommy, can't even read or plan his dark deeds in peace. (Theo notices the book that Tom is holding.) Theo: Did you steal that from the Restricted Section? I thought the librarian had you on some sort of list now? Tom: (frowning) She can't be here every day, she has to sleep some time. (Mattheo makes a faux-shocked face) Theo: Did you just admit to dosing our Librarian with the Sleep Drought? (Tom looks annoyed.) Mattheo: (to Theo) The less questions you ask the better. (notices Tom's frown) Oh great, he's got his "I'm going to commit war crimes" face. (Tom closes his book and stands.) Tom: You will all fear me and regret this day when I become the greatest sorcerer in the world! (Looks at the girl from the real world and his eyes narrow scornfully.) Tom: (points accusingly) Especially you! (Then storms off. The Slytherin boys just stare blankly like it's another Tuesday. Meanwhile the girl from the real world is the only one who seems genuinely scared.)

What if Ginny didn't Get Tom's Diary

I have waaay too many HP OC's. This one is what if Ginny didn't get the diary, but it was someone else?

Here's my little idea of what you could find in Tom's diary.

OC: Dear Tom, Draco Malfoy has been very mean to me and I guess I was asking if I should set his robes on fire for retriution? Diary!Tom: No. OC: Why? Diary!Tom: Do not set his robes on fire. OC: But he was really, really mean to me!!!! Diary!Tom: That many explamation potions are not necessary. What did he do to you to earn your ire? Wait, never mind. Do not set his robes on fire because it will not get me want I wan- (crosses out words) It is not advisable. Rise above it. You know what you need? OC: What? Diary!Tom: A hobby to keep Malfoy off your mind. OC: What do you suggest? Diary!Tom: I am so glad you asked.

You have an idea of where he went with this.

The one thing I hope they change for Hogwarts legacy 2 is the cost customization in character creation. Like, I want it on par with Sims 4.

It felt very limited, although the characters weren’t ugly by far. But when you play with mods, it’s just better. Hopefully for HL 2 there will be more.

I don’t know where all these Tom head cannons were coming from, but my neurodivergent ass is on a roll. This time it’s biblically accurate Tom.

If Tom were ever to fall in love (which isn’t likely since this is a Cannon compliant headcanon) he would be so angry. First, he would think that the girl dose him with a Amortentia which would piss him off at the mere audacity because he views that as trying to take him away from his vision of the world that he has plans and let’s just say he doesn’t like his time being wasted on worthless pursuits.

But once it’s been that debacle has been ruled out, and he is forced to accept his feelings.

Who am I kidding? He doesn’t accept it, he will go on a fool on bender trying to smash these feelings. He will search for the darkest spells and the darkest curses to read himself of these feelings. And when none exist, he will try to win prevent them.

I’m not saying he’ll succeed, but he will try.

And by the time that he has exhausted himself from all this, trying, the girl has found a boyfriend that isn’t him obviously. That is distracted him, and now he is going to take out his unfiltered rage on her boyfriend.

He will not survive this.

I have a thought. I have the hardest time believing anything that comes from Dumbledore‘s mouth. I’m not saying he’s lying per se. I think he makes a lot of assumptions and because he’s accomplished a lot in his life, he assumes his judgment is always correct.

I was watching Harry Potter Folklore on YouTube and he did a vid on Voldemort's origins and I had a thought. A one that I presume is not gonna jive with a lot of people but I just don't buy it.

I have a hard time believing in most things Dumbledore has said that isn't backed up by a flashback or other source.

Am I calling Albus Dumbledore arrogant? Yes... No... maybe... I don't know. I just don't know, but what I do know is that I don't believe that Merope Gaunt could have dosed Tom Riddle Sr. with Amortentia and I'm going to explain why.

From what I understand, from the books, is that by the time Merope was born the Gaunt family wealth had fully ran out and they were in fact flat broke, owning nothing but a shack and what little was left from the family heirlooms—and because of that I don't believe she would've had the means to buy a love potion from a vender nor did she have the education to brew it herself.

Even for arguments sake, she did manage to do either of the two (which I really don't buy) how would she have gotten Tom Riddle Sr. to get anyway her to consume it? From what I've read of Harry Potter & the Goblet of Fire the groundskeeper describes his father (Voldemort's Paternal grandfather) as being incredibly snobby and T.R. Sr. as being 10 times snobbier than that.

He's like a muggle Lucius. He would never have gone anywhere near anyone that he deems beneath him. He probably would've thought her as uncivilized or assumed she was going to rob him and called on the police.

It would be like that scene in LeMiz where this guy calls the cops on Fontine and would've probably ended the same.

Harry Potter Folklore found it unbelieveable too and suggested that maybe she used the Imperious curse on him to get him to drink the potion. But I don't buy that either.

Why use the love potion, at all, and not just use the Imperious Curse on him this whole time?

Merope had very little magical education and just wouldn't have been able to cast a dark curse. It said that her magic was pretty useless when it came to magic because she was abused so badly by her father and brother. Even with their presence gone that would not have changed much.

So, with both options ruled out, I can only thing of one other explanation. Tom Sr. might've seduced her or/and kept her on the side while he was doing whatever rich British men did around that time. IDK, in my head I see it very much how a rake from Bridgerton lived their life.

It's not exactly unheard of from a man of his status (like a tilted Gentlemen or a member of the Gentry) to fool around with the lower classes before they got married as long as it was kept private and no one heard about it—i.e. high society papers. Hell, many of them even did it while they were married.

I imagine he kept this whole thing going (kinda like Benedict and Sophie) until either his mother/father got wind of it and demanded he stop because of how outraged they were. Or he got married/got bored with her.

Either way it doesn't change much but I can see Mr. & Mrs. Riddle paying big money to send Merope away so no one ever finds out about an illegitimate child being born.

Anyway thanks for reading my theory and if you still believe Dumbledore's words that's ok. You don't have to tell me I'm wrong in the comments. Just take that this is my theory and theories typically aren't canon.

My favorite fanfic trope is “what if a real person from our world got sucked into” insert whatever fandom.

But personally, I have this idea what if a real person from our world got sucked into the HPU— more specifically fanon HPU:

I think it would be kind of hilarious. Picture it like so, a girl who’s only read the books and a girl who’s only watched the movies gets sucked into the fanon HPU and ends up encountering the fanon versions of the characters and how utterly confused they are.

Oh and get this, one is sorted into Slytherin and they encounter Lorenzo Berkshire or Mattheo Riddle, and the first words to leave their mouth are

“Who the fuck are you?”

Meanwhile, either of the two are just sitting there chilling.

Special points if it’s the ever changing variation of the Slytherin boys where you will occasionally see Regulus Black or Tom Riddle in the common room.

Regulus doing whatever Regulus does (IDK, I haven’t really seen much of him other than some TikTok edits) and Tom sitting at the chessboard telling people he doesn’t care about their feelings and judging everyone for being inferior to his intellect.

My HP OC

So with my Hogwarts OC (Elena Kingsleigh) for Misery Loves Company I had first selected Nina Dobrev but when I took a small break from writing to blow off steam with Hogwarts Legacy and created a new character I cannot unsee what I made. The way she looks is how with the mods and all is now I now view my OC.

Out of all the ones I've made in-game I am the most proud of this one. It's too bad the game keeps crashing if I spend more than twenty minutes playing. But she is beautiful.

Hm, I think I'll see if I can get some more pictures around the castle. Maybe I'll use them the next time I post them with the fic the next time I post a chapter.
