Note: Very strong use of blue. Mixture of hot and cold tones, deep saturation and dark shadows. Double page spread image with simple white logo. Strong use of photography focussing on the products.

Project Vogue: Herve Leger

Herve Leger: Final Advert.

Another brand I chose was Herve Leger. The reason I chose this brand is because I know Dannii has worn it a few times, I recognised the dresses because they're so distinctive.

Project Vogue: Celine

Celine: Final Advert.

I have chosen the brands and began research into, making note of the use of white space and style of photography used.

The first brand I researched into was Celine, this is an example of one of their existing adverts.

Celine tend to use a vast amount of white space in their adverts, with a polaroid style image in the middle of the page. I chose an appropriate image that I felt would work for the brand and manipulated the photograph on photoshop to suit my own work.

Project Vogue: 

Brief: To create a set of 10 or more advertisements that would typically be found in fashion magazines such as Vogue.

Chose a range of high end designer brands and research into their brand identity, using existing adverts to help you understand the way they wish to come across to their target audience. Gain understanding in the balance of text and images and the manipulation of fashion photography. Consider why brands use the colour schemes and selected of imagery and how you can apply this to your own work.
