Started a very belated wedding present yesterday. The pattern called for black thread, but I thought it would be more interesting with variegated. This is my first time using variegated thread, and I’m liking it so far!

Does anyone know the color contents of the old DMC variegated threads - the non-4000 series? I’m using DMC 121 for my current project, and would like to color match the darkest blue within it. I can do it by eye, but I’d feel better knowing if there was a DMC color it officially matched to. Help, anyone?
