The Lipstick Stain Technique
Pairing: Izumo Kusanagi x Reader

Izumo, fresh out of the shower, sighed as he plopped on the couch scrubbing his wet hair with a towel; joining his lover in the living room, who was currently sitting on the floor and taking out her, what seems to be, newly bought items.
“Rough day in the bar?” the h/c-haired woman asked.
Izumo nodded, “yeah, a group of college students got themselves too drunk for a weekday..”
“Oh? What was the occasion?” Y/N asked, to which Izumo shrugged and stated, “I don’t know, but I did heard something about a birthday..”
“I see,” Y/N said before she continued taking her bought items, which were lipsticks as Izumo finally recognized what those items were, out of their packaging.
“Lipsticks? Again?”
“Darling, a woman can never have too much lipsticks.”
Izumo could only chuckle at his lover as she aligned and arranged each lipstick by color. “Is that the bundle collection that you always wanted to buy?”
“Nope, that was the nude bundle collection. This one is the pink and red one,” Y/N said.
Izumo chuckled. “And here I thought you were viceless,” he said.
Y/N gasped. “Excuse you, I most certainly am! And this lipstick shopping that you call ‘vice’ is actually called my temptations.”
“Sounds the same to me,” Izumo laughed, “woah- you’re trying them on now?”
“Yeah?? If I don’t, how would I know which one I can wear tomorrow and probably every single day?”
“Oh yeah, I remember you have this criteria for your everyday lipsticks- what was that again?” Izumo asked.
“Functional and sexy,” the both of them spoke; to which Izumo laughed at, while Y/N glared at his mockery.
“Chill, babe. I was kidding. But I do want to know how you judge for the sexy part though.”
“Oh, I just use the Lipstick Stain Technique.”
“The what?”
“It’s a test for the ‘sexy part’ that I learned from my mom.”
Suddenly, an idea popped in the young woman’s head. This will be fun, she thought. “How about you join me here? I can show you how it works.”
“Oh, no way. I don’t like the look on your face”
“What look?”
“That look. It literally screams trouble for anyone on the receiving end.”
“Oh come on, my love! Why would I do anything that can embarrass you?”
“Oh so it’s gonna be embarrassing for me?”
“What! No!”
“Nope. No way. I am not doing this. Good night.” Izumo stood up from the couch as he started to head his way towards their shared bedroom.
“Izumo, get your ass back in here or you’re sleeping in the couch!”
“This is my apartment! You can’t make me sleep-“
“Oh yes I can. You don’t want to test me.”
Right after, silence ensued; the two lovers seemingly not about to give in to the other. But after a few more moments of silence, Izumo sighed as he finally gave in.
Let's be honest, can you blame him? How can he resist that cute angry face of hers? Plus, she could really kick his ass off of his bed and he would literally be forced to sleep in the couch. Now that isn’t what Izumo wanted. Missing cuddle session with his lovely girlfriend? Yeah, no way.
Izumo sighed loudly as he took a sit beside Y/N, to which the young woman cheered.
“Okay, lipstick#1: Doll Parts-“
“YOU’RE FILMING?! WHY???”
“Shhhhhhhhh”
Izumo could only sigh in absolute defeat as he watch her put the lipstick on before she turned her way to him, leaning.
“What are you-“
Y/N stared at him, maybe a little too long, and spoke “hmm, not quite. Alright, next!”
Did she just put a kiss mark on me? Wait- this is the technique?! What has her mother been teaching her?! Izumo thought.
~A Few Lipsticks Later~
“I think Wifey and RedRum are the sexiest- what do you think, Izumo?”
“I don’t-“
“K-Kusanagi-san??” Yata stared at his senior with the reddest blush his face could ever muster as he stared at the older male, whose face was literally covered by variously colored lipstick marks.
“Oh~ Is this some sort of exotic trend of couples nowadays?” Chitose teased.
“Chi-Chitose, I don’t think you should say that or else Kusanagi-san might-“
“All of you are dead.”
Izumo stood up from the floor, his red aura emitting and blazing rather dangerously. The young Homra boys shivered in fear; turning to each other, Chitose spoke, “run?”
“Run,” the rest of the boys replied.
Y/N laughed at Izumo. “I told you~ You should have had me bring the leftovers back home. Maybe then, they wouldn’t have seen you in this state.”
“You planned this, didn’t you?”
“I don’t know what you’re talking about-” Y/N cleared her throat, as if prevent laughters.
“You knew they were going to come at the exact moment we were done."
Y/N could no longer hold her laughter before she laughed hysterically. This is why no one should have a genius troublemaker as a lover, Izumo thought as he headed his way to the bathroom; the whole unit rumbling from Y/N’s laughter.
