❇️It’s Lyme Awareness Month! ❇️ 🌿Every week over 5,769 Americans are diagnosed with Lyme Disease and other tick-borne illnesses. Most of them never see a bulls-eye rash, many of them don’t even see a tick, but almost all of them struggle to get an accurate diagnosis despite debilitating symptoms and numerous visits to specialists.🌿 ⚫️Non profits like #projectlyme , #takeabiteoutoflyme and #project300k do great work to keep funding research that our government refuses to do! The amount of research that has come out in the past eight years since I was diagnosed has been amazing, and there are no plans on stopping until the CDC sees us and sees Lyme for the life threatening and PREVENTABLE disease that it is.
