All works are from project 4.2, project 5.1 and project 6.2, Design tools and skills2 course.
The fourth workshop in DTS1 will serve as an introduction to digital modeling in Rhinoceros by creating a physical model of a deformed and folded paper sheet. The folded result is consider the topography. I have to adapt mapping techniques in order to generate the 3D digital version.
The session starts by creating a folded deformed position of the A4 grid that I bring at the beginning of the class, wrapping it around an object.
After getting an A4 structure grid model, I continue to use it to construct 3d structural model in Rhinoceros with no stretch or shrink the picture (model). - The digital model must be as similar as possible with the real model.
