#ProjectBRAVE photos Volume 1, Part 4
Body love is NOT a trend, it’s a lifestyle. And the participants in Volume 1 from Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3 are living that life! I cannot thank them enough. Thank you for trusting me, for trusting Dale, for putting yourselves out there. Thank you! This is the final Part of Volume 1. It features: Francine, Jilleen, Janielle and Dionne. I hope you are all inspired by their stories to be BRAVE.…

Being brave means "remembering each day that I am fearfully and wonderfully made."
—Mark
"Brave means unapologetic." —Micaela, Project Brave Veteran
"[Being brave] means standing up for what you believe in and not letting others persuade you into something that you don’t feel is right or that you don’t agree with. It’s being able to love yourself. I try to tell myself that I am beautiful and that I matter. Once you begin to love yourself, you start a whole new process, a whole new chain of events where it just gets better and better.
It’s really hard at first to accept yourself and love yourself because you have been told these messages from society or from people around you that you are less than or not worthy. There is nothing wrong with you. You are beautiful and you matter so much. There are people that do care about you. You have to learn to love yourself and be brave; let the world know who you are. The only way you can be happy is if you be yourself."
—Carlos
"To be brave… just being yourself. Not being afraid of someone not liking you because of something you’re going to say or something you’re going to wear. If you wake up one morning and you decide you want to wear yoga pants, wear yoga pants! If you want to put a dress on, put a dress on! Who cares if you’re a man, woman, gay, straight, bi; just be yourself. That’s what matters. Because if you lie about who you are, then you’re going to lose who you are.”
—Brianna

"It doesn't matter who you love, just as long as you LOVE"
