So I have had Glass since July 10th which was a belated birthday present to myself and, I am now just getting to creating this blog about my experience with it.
I am 25 and I am one of 4 People with Google Glass or 'Glass" in the Pittsburgh, PA area. I am the only female. I am also one of 3 who "legally" obtained this magical object from Google themselves. I know of one who purchased it off of Ebay.
Ebay purchasers to me are not true glass explorers. You obtained it from someone else who figured they would cheat Google out of money that you paid for something you truly want.
Isn't the point of winning a contest or going to IO ( a convention Google holds each year on it's up and coming technology in CA) to experience the Beta and the whole process to the final project. It's not to pawn it off to some jerk who will most likely rub it into someone else's face instead of sharing the wonders of the technology that is coming to the world and the amazing things that it can do.
But, getting back to the point and to get off my rant. The reason I was picked for the #ifihadglass competition was bc I posted to Google+ in 140 characters that "If I had glass I would use it for point of view for my nail and makeup tutorials."
I go by shtrdglassheart or l'artistegeekchic now on youtube since the whole thing where G+ made you have to use your name or create one for your channel. (I was happy with my old username :( I don't like change.)
But, I have been slacking a bit since I got glass, I made one post on nails and NEVER even posted it. so, here I am creating this BLOG to help myself get some motivation. I will hopefully be making more videos soon.
Until then feel free to look at this as, I will be posting about fashion with glass, updates in the software, flaws I find etc.
