So it's not a lot to look at right now in its basic stages, but I got commissioned by @tylergreenfx to create an original ax design for an upcoming character. I still plan to add many details, including hand laying a hammered look into the raised "metal" (as seen on the image to the right), adding orcish lettering, wrapping with leather, and creating rust and blood fx, but so far it's super sturdy and I'm happy to be moving into the detail phase! #projectgoblinwarrior #ax #specialfx #fabrication #faceoff #tylergreen #cosplay #prop #propmakercoalition #weapon

Man I'm having fun tonight. Just applied the silver to the Ax for @tylergreenfx and about to start the woodwork. This is the first commission I've taken in the last year and the first original design in many years that I've gotten to create, plus it being totally from scratch makes this increeedibly fun.
