Going to be a slight change in then direction of my training. As I was once 173 kilos/380 pounds...I have a lot of issues with my range of movement. By this I mean I struggle to do low squats, low lunges, full pushups, burpees etc plus I have a lot of fear with a lot of things (such as bunny hops over a bench, running on treadmill etc) so while I have been focusing on weight work after swapping some messages today with my trainer today she has told me she she would love to do balance and stability work with me and that she wants to change my program. She explained my PT sessions wont be high calorie burns but doing these workouts will benefit me by giving me more joint stability and movement in the long run.
It will mean I really need to up the ante of my cardio. I have really started enjoying my RPM classes. I currently only do one session per week which is on wednesday night and its actually my trainer that takes the class....there is at least one other class per week I can make (thursday nights) so I think I will start doing a second class a week. I usually burn 600-650 cals in them and they are pretty perfect for me as they are low impact and the chance of falling over is very low haha!
