Final product
After refining my pattern I have a complete chocolate identity. I am pleased with the finished result and probably would consider purchasing this if it was in a shop.

repeat pattern and packaging
after finalising my logo I started to put my chocolate packaging together. I played around with a few different patterns. I started with just love hearts but found they weren’t exactly what I was after especially these types of hearts which look more childlike. I moved on to trying line drawings again like my logo, however, I just did roses and felt that was too busy.
Week 11
final logo
After feedback in class, I decided to rework my logo slightly. I chose to do the rose which was loved most. I shortened the stem to it make more cohesive. I didn’t change my text as that was something I liked. I added a white line to draw attention. Overall I am very pleased with this logo and believe it fits my brand.
Week 9
This week we worked on our logo designs. I am leaning more towards the lips as it is the aesthetic i am looking for. I will need to fix up certain areas like the teeth, but I have struggled a bit working with illustrator for the first time.
Week 8
idea generation, sketches, moodboard
This week we began working on our idea for our chocolate packaging. I have struggled with coming up with a name and logo direction. The name I am heading towards is ‘simply delicious’ and for the logo; lips with the text on top, this is one of the sketches in the above images. My moodboard is mainly pinks and reds as I want to go down a feminine route aiming this chocolate towards women aged between 20-40, and being something they eat with their girlfriends on a wine night or when they need consoling.
Week 5
Mockup
This week we also practiced using mock-ups to show our work.
Week 5
Final details
This week I am putting the finishing touches on my album cover. The biggest challenge I have had is finding the right font.
After much consideration, I feel that picture two with the font Azote captures my style pathway most.
Week 4
Altered Album cover
This week we began using photoshop, I have previously used this but only briefly. My aim was to use the album I found in store and practice editing and crafting a collage together. I don’t love this altered album cover but using the skills gained and more time I hope to produce a well crafted assessment. My biggest changes I would make to this small project would be the main cover to find different objects and images which I feel would match it better.
