The Purgatory and the Prometheus | A RP with prometheus-are-you-seeing-this
Ezio rubbed his eyes and yawned as he made his way to the cafeteria. The ship was still quiet. Everybody was sleeping. He was the first one who woke up. Maybe because of his great excitement that woke him up from the cryochamber. After all, this was his first job that actually wasn't based on Earth. He was in the USCSS Prometheus, the most advanced scientific vessel to date. It was a co-project that was funded by Weyland Industries and Yutani Corporation. For so long, they had been competing with each other. But the Prometheus Project brought them together and they renamed themselves as "Weyland-Yutani Corporation."
The hallways were filled with silence, with the exception of the low grumbling noise of the ship. The Italian was wearing nothing but a white bathrobe that has the logo of Yutani Corporation on back of it. He stretched himself up for a bit. Sleeping for a full four years made him feel the need for food. As he reached the cafeteria, the light automatically came on and lit up the room. It was decorated in white and in a futuristic way but still had some parts of it that reflected the older times of humanity. It made Ezio felt a little bit nostalgic. He always wondered about the past of the world. A world where the fastest transportation was by using the planes or trains. But since humanity had expanded into the stars, those two had become a lot less vital.
He went over to one of the counter and made himself a bowl of cereal and a cup of black coffee. He put them on the white metallic table nearby and sat there, eating and thinking. The cereal didn't taste like what he had on Earth. Here, it felt artificial. It was like it wasn't even made with all of those materials back on Earth. But he understood that it would be hard to do the real stuffs since the resources back on Earth were depleting. Ezio let out a sigh. He was worried of how humanity was treating their own home planet, his home planet. Ezio chewed the cereal slowly and swallowed it. He picked up the coffee and drank it with care. At least, the coffee tasted real. Ezio felt a slight weight on his right shoulder. He glanced up and smiled. It was Dr. Elizabeth Shaw.
"Please, have a seat. How come you are up so early, Dr. Shaw?" said Ezio, smiling at her.
