Hey gang, this is thankfully not a “im burnt out, no more Promiseclan” post. Buuut burnout is a thing and I’ve been working on restructuring panel styles and some story beats planned for the next few moons so we can finally pick things up and not be stuck on each moon for 9,000 years.

The ending of this little moon 1 sequence is probably going to be abrupt just so we can move things along finally. But it will be incorporated into the lore. Thank you for your patience and understanding!! 🖤

MOON 1: GREAT EXPECTATIONS

The initials panels may not be done but I wanted to experiment with doing a “title panel” of sorts with each section of a moon to serve as a buffer between sections.

In this case, “Great Expectations” takes place roughly a week after the events of “To Dream”

Everyone get hyped. It’s Palepaw’s turn to be the protagonist

The second half of Moon 1 is going to be fun (It may or may not determine how Promiseclan does their “Gatherings” for the foreseeable future) :3c

That being said. I do have a question for what y’all think would be more fun going forwards for what I affectionately dub “Empty Moons” or moons where like. Ripplepaw sprains his ankle, Brownspot gives Shadedstar a compliment, and nothing else happens.

What content should go in “Empty Moons”?

A mini-chapter focused on getting to know a cat better

A mini chapter focused on developing relationship dynamics

A mini chapter focused on worldbuilding

A combination of the first three (Based on what’s most applicable)
