“Finn?” Dylan’s the first to spot the blonde as he enters the childhood home of the Dunsmore siblings. He’s entered the calm before the storm, everything was still in a process of being set up or cooked. Dylan was currently carrying a box of items she’d collected from around the house that needed to be hidden up in the attic so it doesn’t get stolen. “Here, hold his,” she orders before he can protest, moving to offload the box into his arms so she can go collect the step ladder. “You’re early,” she keeps talking as she crosses his path again, this time carrying the metal steps.

“Turn around and let me have a look at you,” Dameron half orders. A impish wriggle races across her brows.

Owen & Hostile Cooper

@drowenharper1​ (semi-plotted starter) 

He was alluringly different in the way most dangerous things were and it was his striking appearance that caught her gaze under the halos of the bar’s strobe lights. Chugging the rest of her expensive champagne, Cooper decides to descend upon him. 

Cooper’s eyes flash with vibrant mirth like a night whose air is illuminated with twinkling yellow sparklers. “Did come here alone, mon?” She croons smoothly. She hadn’t directly noticed anyone in his vicinity after having spent several minutes studying her quarry.

She doesn’t even consider asking before she occupies the seat beside him. Powerful and rich crime bosses didn’t need permission to do anything. Did they? A grin, mischievous in nature slips across her deep cranberry shaded lips. Instinctively, she starts to encroach upon his personal space, leaning in closer than she probably ought. “I haven’t seen you around here before. Let me guess,  you’re new to Miami.” She assess. It’s part of the cop instinct that remained long after the badge had been dishonored and discarded.

"That's impressive." Loki stopped in the street to openly stare at Bucky's hand, the metal one, the peeked out from his jacket. "Vibranium right? There are few materials more versatile than the substance. But how did humans come by it?" the God didn't seem to realize that half of what he said could send red flags to a common person. Sure he was dressed in civilian clothing but even then he stood out just a little. "I don't suppose you'd let me examine it?" Getting punched in the teeth seemed like a more likely possibility but Loki still didn't seem to catch on that he might be over stepping.

Kurt didn’t want to open his eyes. The familiar sound of Kitty’s laughter had awakened him, but he was too comfortable right where he was. He must’ve fallen asleep during the movie he was watching with Rachel.

Rachel.

His eyes flew open and he sat straight up, curls a mess, as he realized why his pillow was so firm and warm. He’d been asleep in Rachel’s lap! The tips of his ears burned purple as he tried to think of something to say. “Ah--ah--ah...”

@protectxthem (Bruce Wayne from Violet Mikami: Pre-Plotted starter)

Why was everyone leaving? The parties at Wayne Manor were supposed to be quite legendary if the papers were to be believed. With brows furrowed, Violet steadily kept pushing her way through the fleeing crowd.

Then, to her abject horror, she gets her partial answer. The Manor which had been full of splendor and grandeur began to glow-- strangely. It takes a moment, or maybe two, for her to process what was happening.

"Bruce!" The scream tears from Violet's tightening lungs. He's still in there! He hadn't been among the fleeing throng of party goers. She quickly determines, casting her gaze around quickly.

Oh, God, NO! He is still in the Manor which was being hastily engulfed by flames. After the moment of sheer paralysis wore off, Violet bounded up the stairs and into the front door with the police shouting in her wake to wait for the fireman. But she knows better than anyone that they would get there too late.

Delaying is what cost Evan his life. If she had gotten there a moment sooner, if she had somehow gotten him out of the way, then the theater kiosk wouldn't have crumbled and toppled over him. It wouldn't have crushed him to death.

And with that same fear, entwined like ivy about her heart, Violet presses deeper into the scorching halls. "Bruce?!!!" She calls out, the sound more strangled than usual. Frantic steps carried her through the hallways. The smoke is thick and choking. Her sightlines blurred and still she ambles forward.

THERE HE IS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CRUSHED under a fallen section of ceiling. "NO! No! NO! NO!" It is the only word that intensely registers. She crouches before him, fingers moving to inspect for his pulse. "Wake UP!" The shaky command is given. "I NEED --" She starts with the slow drag of a cough rumbling free of her lungs. "I NEED YOU TO WAKE UP!" This time the words are spoken less patiently. It's getting hot enough to cook both of them now that flames were licking up the walls closest to them. "Come on, Bruce---- W--w-- we gotta go."

Kurt crept downstairs quietly for a late-night snack. He was still dressed, though it was long past lights-out, and he smelled slightly of a woman’s perfume. Of course, only a sensitive nose like Wolverine’s could pick it up, but it was there, nonetheless. He’d been with Wanda again. That first time they’d cuddled on her bed had started something. They both adored just lying there, wrapped in one another’s embrace. Of course, it didn’t go any further. Kurt had his morals and Wanda had her boundaries, but the blue mutant was still sneaking around about it. He was, after all, seeing ‘the enemy’. And he’d broken curfew, yet again, but that was because he’d fallen asleep in her bed. Upon waking, he’d kissed his lady love goodbye and teleported straight home, but he found he couldn’t go back to sleep. He was hungry. 

So here he was, heading to the kitchen, his yellow eyes glowing in the dark. The unexpected figure nearly gave him a heart attack, and he came precariously close to teleporting unintentionally. “Maddy!” He whispered, once he finally caught his breath and recognized the other midnight-snacker. “Du lieber Himmel, you scared me!”

There were such things as unnecessary risks, but sometimes, they were just too fun not to take. S.H.I.E.L.D. had something Azazel wanted, and getting it had been ridiculously easy: He’d simply teleported onboard the Helicarrier  and just picked it up. But he wanted to explore. So, his red skin changed to a deep, brownish tan, his tail disappeared, his and his lost their points. Now he looked like an off-duty S.H.I.E.L.D. employee. It was surprisingly easy to wander around (he guessed they didn’t have many stowaways, as getting on the Helicarrier would have been all but impossible for anyone but a teleporter), and once he got bored, he ended up stopping in the mess hall for a bite to eat. “What’s good today?” He asked the one person he found manning the station. Of course, his voice had lost its usual accent, and instead, he spoke with an American inflection. There probably weren’t very many Russians wandering around here, he guessed.
